Last week I heard the Chief of Staff for newly-elected Governor Jay Inslee, Mary Alice Heuschel, discuss the Governor’s legislative priorities. The Governor’s Legislative and Policy Director, Ted Sturdevant, also spoke at the event sponsored by the Association of Washington Business (learn more about them).
Alas, as I tweeted at the time, the news from Heuschel was disapointing: “Darn, transportation doesn’t make @GovInslee top 4 issues for improving state economy, employment.”
However, the Governor’s Legislative and Policy Director, Ted Sturdevant, did talk about transportation in his remarks. My tweet: “@GovInslee leg/policy director says transportation investment pkg is a top interest & Gov will engage.”
