The House Transportation Committee’s Republican Lineup

Rotunda of House Rayburn building.

Earlier in January new House Transportation Chair Bill Shuster confirmed the Republican members of the Committee. The number of Republicans on the Committee remains the same as in the last Congress; Democrats will add one member as a result of picking up more seats in the last election. The ratio for this Congress will be 33 Republicans, 27 Democrats.

Subcommittee chairs and membership should be announced very soon.

New GOP Members to the Committee include Thomas Massie (Kentucky), Daniel Webster (Florida), Steve Daines (Montana), Tom Rice (South Carolina), Markwayne Mullin (Oklahoma), Roger Williams (Texas), Trey Radel (Florida), Mark Meadows (North Carolina), Scott Perry (Pennsylvania), and Rodney Davis (Illinois).

Members are listed in order of Congressional seniority (except for the Chair). The Committee also has a new-look website.
